Last Night

So I still have not posted any pictures...
And for that I'm sorry...
Just been so darn busy...
Tuesday night I purchased Gracie's dress for the wedding. Last night I was on the hunt for shoes for both Gracie and I. Luckily they were both an easy find. After completing the shoe mission (poor Todd was dragged along) we were off to do some back to school shopping. I just can't believe my little girl is going to be in the first grade. Man does time fly or what? It was really cute to watch her decide on all of her stuff. She went with a light purple back pack which fortunately she's not hidden under. Most of the backpacks are just so big she looks like a turtle with a massive shell. :) We found one that fits her nicely. She picked out a binder, pencil holder, pens, pencils, etc. She chose her folders and notebooks carefully deciding on cute puppies and kitties. After getting all of the school supplies it was time to find a lunch box. She went with a cute insulated monkey one. I will have to take a picture of it and post it. It's just to adorable. All and all I was surprised at the grand total. Most of the stuff was on sale so it didn't break my wallet. Thank goodness. After all the shopping Todd Gracie and I grabbed a quick bite to eat and then it was off to her Dad's work for a drop off. Todd and I went home and tried our best to relax in what short amount of time we had before bed. We were pleasantly surpised to find a card taped to our front door with our names on it. Upon opening it we were delighted to see a cute happy engagement greeting from his Mom and Grandma. The two of them are just so sweet. Todd and I talked to his Mom and finalized the flower arraingements for the wedding. I will have a small bouquet and so will Gracie. Todd of course is going to have a boutineer. My only request was no roses. I feel they are so cliche' and generic. Tulips being my first choice but of course they are out of season. However the florist did say that there will be one or two of them in my bouquet. After touching base with his Mom we curled up in bed and watched the good old DVR with a new episode of Dog the Bounty Hunter that had recorded earlier that night. I know we're dorks but we absolutely love that show. At least we can be dorks together right? :) After a little R&R TV watching we hit the sheets and were greeted this morning with the horrible sound of the alarm clock. Ugghh I hate them. Today Todd's co-workers are taking him out to lunch to celebrate the upcoming wedding. I'm taking advantage of the lunch hour to myself and am heading to the nail salon around the corner from my work to get my nails done for the wedding. Fun stuff. Tonight I have to get my hair cut and start packing for all three of us for the weekend. Fun Fun :).
