Getting Ready For Baby Manning...

So the time is coming...
I really can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone by...
54 days left until my due date...
Gracie came 10 days early...
So...
If that happens with this little one...
I have 44 days until he's in my arms...
44 DAYS!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT????

Last night Todd and I began putting together some much needed necessities that we received early for our upcoming baby shower...
Thank you so much Mom :)

Here is the beginning stages of putting together the bassinet...
(By the way Todd did all the putting together...)
I was the instruction reader...
I tried to explain to Todd that we should put it together in the bedroom because it probably wouldn't fit through the door...
Shortly after this picture was taken Todd was taking it apart to put it back together in the bedroom....

Why don't men listen???



Here it is all put together and I can't believe the little man in my tummy will be lying in the bassinet soon....
Todd and I can't wait!!!!



Next in the line up of assembly was the stroller car seat combo....
Boy oh boy do I love the one that we picked out...
I fell more in love with it last night as I explored all of it's features...
And it had the highest safety rating of any stroller and car seat this year...

Doesn't my handsome husband look happy???
He actually got really into the whole putting together mission...

I just love how nice it is to be able to leave that strapped into the car...



Todd even got a little puzzled during the put together process...



And the only reason I believe this part is the fact that I have a photo to prove it...
Todd is reading the directions!!!
(I won't tell you how many things he had to take back apart and redo since reading the directions was such a foreign concept)...
But I love him to pieces and it sure makes for great comedy...

So yay Todd and I are well on our way to being ready for the baby...
This weekend we are going to pick up our crib...
Super exciting...
I just love to here the excitement in Todd's voice when he talks about his son!!!

She told me it was comfy but as soon as I suggested trying out the five-point harness she strongly disagreed...
