Getting Really Close...

So wow...
26 days or less, pretty darn crazy...
For a few short minutes last night I thought it was time...
Contractions started and boy were they strong...
I couldn't talk through them and I was doing my best to breath through them...
I was surprised when they kept coming...
Todd looks at me and says "Babe these are pretty consistent!"
All of a sudden I was panicked thinking to myself I'm not all the way ready...
No it can't be now!!!
Thankfully my contractions slowly died down and I'm sitting here today still pregnant...
:)

However, talk about a reality check!!!!
So starting this afternoon I can officially say I'm prepared....
I've cleaned every room in this house from top to bottom...
Vacuumed, Swept, Mopped, Dusted....

Here is the spic and span living room...





Todd and I went Grocery shopping and stocked up on food, toilet paper, paper towels etc...
I headed to Petco yesterday and stocked up on cat food...
Scrubbed down the counters, sink, floor, and even on top of the fridge...





I even cleaned Todd's computer area...
I must be nesting...




I cleaned the bathroom last night...
I'll spare you a picture of our beautiful sparkling toilet...
After lots of begging, hounding, and down right annoying Todd he cleaned it last night...
While on his hands and knees scrubbing around the toilet basin he looked up at me and said with the nicest tone he could muster...
"Babe please tell me this nesting craziness ends SOON!!!"
Poor guy :-)



I did 9 loads of laundry yesterday and now there isn't a dirty article of clothing, towel, blanket, or anything for that matter in this house...
:)
Our bedroom is all prepared for little monkey...



There is going to be some rearranging of baby items once he arrives of course...
But you get the idea...



The kids areas are cleaned, organized, and good to go...
You've seen Baby Manning's in my last post...



I spent over an hour on Gracie's stuff Monday night...
It is organized, all her clothes clean, and I packed her an overnight bag in case she has to stay at Aunt Edie and Uncle Ray's house while I'm in labor...





Most importantly...
I packed our hospital bag!!!



Waiting by the door is everything ready to go...
Hospital suitcase, car seat, diaper bag, laptop case....
It can now be grabbed at a moments notice...



Of course there are a few things that can't be packed because we use them everyday...
So I made a list (which I'm sure will be added to)...
With the things we need to grab or do as we're heading out the door...



Call me crazy, OCD, hormonal...
:-)
I just want this to be as smooth and calm as possible for Todd and I...
You can never be to prepared....
So now, all I have left is finishing up washing all the baby clothes...
Such a project....

Baby appointment tomorrow, excited for that!!!
Baby shower at Todd's work on Monday....
Then I want this baby out!!!
