The Mannings...

So once again I've been delayed in my blogging endeavours...
Really I have no excuse....
Besides two kids, a husband, a home, that need my constant attention...
Oh I know, I Rowan was really sick for almost two weeks...
Started off as a cold (which everyone in the house contracted)...
But then Rowan's turned into the dreaded croup...
Ughhh how I loathe that sickness...
So four doctor visits total, one to urgent care, and lots of breathing treatments and sleepless nights, he's finally on the up and up...
Thank goodness...
Other big events that have taken place:

We house sat for Mom while she went on a small ocean vacation with my Mom...
Todd and I had a super stressful time due to a cat that shall remain nameless...
(JOY!!!!!)
But Rowan had a great time because he discovered a real live chicken...

Hanna (the chicken) even let Rowan touch her...
In fact she wouldn't leave Rowan alone...
And Rowan was just shaking with excitement...
It was to cute...

Todd and I also went to back to school night at Gracie's school...
Both our Mom's watched the kids since it was a parents only event...
Todd and I were blown away by the amazing staff and beautiful school that Grace's is now attending...
We couldn't be more excited for her...
The school's theme is "Wild About Learning"...
And Grace's teacher just happens to be named Mrs. Jungles...
How cute is that...
Her class room theme is a safari...
And here is Grace's picture in the classroom....

We've also started a new tradition around here...

I don't know how long this is going to last...
Three of us in the tub (there isn't much room)...
:-)

Rowan is getting ready for Halloween he has his first trick-or-treat basket...
Complete with a black kitty, a ghost, a pumpkin, and a candy corn toy...

And...
Well...
What can I say...
I couldn't resist...
:-)

Some where in the midst of our chaotic life...
My amazing Husband got me flowers on his way home from work...
Oh how I love him so...

This Saturday Gracie had her riding lesson...

She is doing so great...
It is so awesome to watch how much her skills have improved...
She is now doing walk and trot all by herself around the arena...
Keeping her extremely large horse Midnight against the rail...
Going down the center of the arena and posting fantastically...
Go Gracie!!!!

I have videos that I need to hurry up and upload already to showcase how good she's doing...
Here is Rowan and I as Gracie's cheering section...
Rowan is in his PJ's because it was an early lesson and hey...
If I could stay in my PJ's on a Saturday morning I would...
:-)
Daddy was doing a coffee run...
Oh how we love him...

After each lesson, Gracie thanks Midnight and gives her some love...

After Gracie's riding lesson we packed up and headed for Mom's for the day...
Gracie was super excited...
And Rowan was just hoping that all the cats were where they were suppose to be...
:-)

Well the landscapers have woken up Rowan so I'm taking a break...
Be back to finish this soon...
I hope...
Alright I'm back we'll see how long this last...
(hence the reason there's not a lot of blogging going on lately...

While up at Mom's house we had a little treat...
Mom took Rowan and rocked him during his nap and Todd and I got a little spa time...
It wasn't long before Grace joined us...
Then Rowan woke up and it became a family affair..

(For all you sceptics out there, the spa didn't have chemicals in it and it was only at 91 degrees)...

Rowan loved it and could have stayed in it for hours...
Between the jets, bubbles, and waterfall, he was in heaven...

And so was Daddy...

I will end this post with a picture of Mews...
Who thinks underneath the jumper is the perfect sleeping place...

Hope this finds everyone smiling...
We are!!!
