I Surrender...

So it has been way to long since I've blogged...
It makes me so sad...
So much has happened since my last post both good and bad....
Half the reason I haven't posted is due to the fact that catching everything up to date is a task so daunting...
So I've decided instead of giving myself a task that I'm never going to tackle therefore resulting in my blog being permanently shut down I'm just going to start fresh....
So I was thinking that maybe at the end of each blog I'll post a picture and a short caption from the lapse in time so maybe slowly but surely I'll get caught up...
As for today...
I'm healing well from my surgery...
I can't wait to be back a hundred percent...
This post op stuff stinks...
Rowan has an ear infection and will be seeing his Doctor tomorrow...
Ugghhh poor guy...
Gracie has a giant book report due for school tomorrow so when she gets home from school today we're going to be very busy...
Rowan is so big now...
He says Mama and Dada is days away from walking and is such a character...
We had a wonderful first Christmas with him and I just can't believe it but his first Birthday is right around the corner!!!
Yikes planning planning planning...
I can't wait to make his first Birthday cake...
All organic of course :-)

So just to get the ball rolling on this darn blog I'll put up a few recent pictures of our little family...

I really can't put into words how lucky I am to be his wife...
We've really been through it lately with everything that has happened to us...
I'm so fortunate to have him by my side...
He is the most dedicated man I've ever met....
Each and every day he amazes me....
He is such a wonderful Father to Gracie and Rowan...
I really did win the lottery when I found him....
When ever life gets me down...
Which for obvious reasons it has lately, all I have to do is lean into him and when his arms wrap around me I feel so safe and all my problems and fears melt away...
So as for an update on us...
We're stronger than ever and couldn't be happier...



And here is our little Bugaboo...
I'm mean seriously how can you not just melt when you look at this face...
In this photo he was eating mashed potatoes and gravy with me...

Alright so hopefully this will get the ball rolling for me and I can start blogging daily again...
I sure miss my daily journal especially with Rowan growing so gosh darn fast...

Catching Up....So here is a picture from December 5th when we went up to Apple Hill to cut down our Christmas tree. There was a ton of snow and Rowan was able to see it for the first time. Gracie helped Todd cut down the tree as usual. She has become such a pro we're thinking that in a couple years Rowan and Grace can cut down the tree by themselves while Todd and I sit back and relax. LOL
