I've been feeling under the weather the past couple days...
Really bad chest cold and back pain...
Ughh...
So Todd and I declined leaving the house and just decided to stay home...
However, since Mom is so awesome she offered to bring my favorite Restaurant (Mimi's Cafe) home to us....
Yay!!!
Once they arrived, Mom took Rowan so I could eat my yummy delicious dinner...
Then Grandma Florence spent some time holding Rowan...
We spent a while visiting and talking about everything that has been going on the past few days...
During the conversation I realized that I haven't blogged about my super successful award my Husband received at his work....
Yay Go Babe!!!
On his first day back into the office he received an award for going above and beyond the call of duty while working on two of his projects...
He was nominated shortly before he went on his Daddy leave and received it the first day back...
I'm so proud of my Husband, he works so hard, and does so well on all of his projects...
I'm so glad he was recognized...
We also talked about Rowan and how attentive he has become...
He loves to watch and interact with things now...
I told Mom and Grandma that I wanted to get him an infant play gym...
While they were here I researched the different models on the Internet and showed them all the different models...
Todd and I agreed on the one we liked best...
After Todd and I finished our yummy dessert Mom brought us...
Chocolate Mousse...
Yum Yum!!!
Mom and Grandma left....
After they left I took a bath with Rowan and just sat down to nurse him when the phone rang...
Todd answered it and it was Mom...
She said she was down in our parking lot stuck in her seat because her seat belt was jammed...
Todd put on some warm clothes and grabbed his tool chest and headed downstairs...
I bundled up Rowan, beanie and all to head down and see Mom stuck in the Jeep...
As soon as I walked down the stairs I see Mom pulling away and Todd walking towards me holding the infant play gym we wanted....
Can you believe it!!!
We were tricked!!!

Todd and I laughed, Mom sure did get us good...
So this Morning after Todd left for work I put it together...
It also comes with and interactive aquarium that lights up and plays melodies...
It's activated by the baby's movements...
I haven't put the batteries in that yet but as soon as I put Rowan on the play gym he lit up with excitement...
He was kicking his legs as fast as he could...
Moving his arms and grabbing at the toys...
It was just so cute...

He was so content for such a long time...

There is a big fish with a large mirror on it...
Rowan stared at his reflection for a long time...
He really did tire himself out playing...
I nursed him afterwards and now look at him...
Thank you Mom and Grandma for such an awesome surprise...
We really appreciate it and Rowan really does love it...
