I miss him like crazy, but the loneliness seems to be broken up nicely with Todd coming home for lunch...
It's really awesome that we live so close to his office...
While at Kaiser yesterday picking up my prescription I went into this private corner we found a few trips ago to nurse...
While nursing Rowan with Todd next to me I saw a lady walking down the hallway with an infant and a 2 year old in a stroller...
She peaked in and saw what I was doing and explained that she needed to do the same thing...
Todd and I said come on in...
While the two of us were nursing she introduced herself and we started chatting...
Her Son is two weeks older than Rowan...
We shared many of the same feelings, her Husband also had 5 weeks off work and had recently returned to the office....
It was so nice to talk to someone with my same feelings and challenges...
She told me about this "Mommy and Me" group that meets at Kaiser Roseville Thursday's from 10am to 12:00pm...
She said it was a really awesome support group...
Apparently I can show up whenever and just walk in, I can come as frequent or infrequently as I'd like...
I think I'm going to give it a shot...
Just talking with her for 20 minutes made me not feel so alone...
So we'll see if I make it there tomorrow...
If not I will shoot for next week...
It would work nicely into my schedule because when it ends I can leave straight to Gracie's school due to the fact that Thursday's are her early days dismissing them at 1:05pm...
It's worth a shot right???
:-)
So even though Todd is back in the office he really is doing an amazing job as a Husband and Daddy...
Yesterday when he arrived at home in the evening, he was carrying these...

Yes my Husband knows me well...
Beautiful tulips...
They haven't even bloomed yet so they'll last a while!!!
It's hard to see in the picture but the vase is a tulip and it came with a floating candle...
So after the flowers are gone I can fill it up with water and light the candle...
He even knows my love for vases and got one that can be displayed all the time...
Pretty sweet huh???

Also last night Todd and I had to go to Target to pick up some much needed items...
For the longest time I've wanted a huge super soft micro fleece blanket...
When we were walking down an aisle in Target they were on an end cap on sale...
Todd was so awesome and asked me what color, and when I objected feeling guilty to spend money on something so frivolous he threw one in the cart and demanded it stay there...
I obliged and let me tell you what I am so thankful...
With Todd back to work I've become quite the couch surfer so he can get a full nights rest...
Rowan and I enjoyed our super soft blanket last night...
:-)
It's huge by the way, in this photo it's folded in thirds...
Awww so compfy and soft...
Doesn't make up for not sleeping next to Todd...
But it's comforting...

I'm a very exhausted but a very blessed Mommy and Wife...
Thank you Babe for all you do...
I love you to pieces...
I will end this post with the daily Rowan picture I sent to Todd at work...
Rowan taking a Morning snooze...

Hope this finds everyone smiling,
Big Hugs,
