Todd and Megs Plus 2: Rowan's Four Month Letter

My Precious Son,

Well I'm a few days late on this letter and for that I'm sorry...
Lot's of things going on in our little life right now...
But that sure hasn't stopped you from growing...
You continue to be such a joy in our lives...
These past two months your personality really has begun to shine through...
You are such a happy baby...
Always smiling and now laughing...
You are so aware of your surroundings and you now recognize the family in your daily life...
You've also hit some major milestones...
You can now roll over and in the process of learning this you really have shown your Daddy and I want a determined big guy you are....
You will try and try and never give up...
Grunting a hollering until you get yourself over...
Once you're on your tummy your face beams with excitement...
You've also started some fruit with your rice cereal...
Peaches was a no go...
Your whole body would shiver with each spoonful and after a couple feedings it was apparent that peaches just aren't your thing right now...
After discovering that I stared you on organic pears...
Now this is by far your favorite...
You make the cutest noises while eating them and if I don't get the next spoonful in your mouth fast enough you squeal until I do...
It's so neat to see you discover new things...
You also love ducks...
It all started with a bath time rubber ducky and it has grown from there...
Anytime you see a yellow duck you squeal in delight...
You have also begun to grab things with your cute little hands...
If I hold something you want in front of you, you will reach out, grab it, and place it straight into your mouth...
In doing this you've discovered that not everything taste as good as pears...
:-)
You are so strong...
When I hold you now you pull your neck, shoulders, and chest up...
Just so determined to do more with your little body....
I can see in your eyes that your brain knows there is so much more to do and it almost seems as if you feel trapped in your little baby body...
You continue to have an amazing bond with your Big Sister...
She just loves you to pieces and will do just about anything to make you smile...
I love seeing the two of you interact...
The sibling love is so apparent and I'm just so happy for you both as I didn't have that growing up...
I can't wait to see how big you'll get and I'm sure how protective...
Gracie has a hard time imagining you towering over her years from now....
But I'm afraid it will be here sooner than we think....
I took you to the Doctor's yesterday for your 4 Month well baby visit...
The Doctor said we should find you a football agent now...

You are in the 118th percentile...
Weighing in at 21 Pounds... 27 and 3/4 inches long...
Healthy amazing boy you are...
I want to thank you again for coming into our life...
You have made Daddy, Mommy, and Sissy so very happy....
You light up my world and my heart overflows daily with love for you...
I love you Rowan....
