A Lake Weekend...

Well I was really looking forward to this weekend because Todd had completed his big project at work and was not going to have to be working from home through the weekend...
Sadly, it was Gracie's weekend with her Dad so we were just a family of three for Saturday and Sunday...

However, it was a big weekend for Rowan because he had his first trip to the Lake...
Well outside of my tummy that is...
Saturday it was just Todd, Rowan, and I...

We stopped off at our favorite Mexican place on the way and Rowan sat in his new BUMBO chair while Todd and I ate...
Rowan's shirt says...
"Mommy's Greatest Catch"

After we finished eating I put Rowan in the baby backpack and took him down to the shore line to visit with the duckies...
There were lots of geese with little babies in tow...
It was just the cutest thing...



Rowan loved walking around and listening to the water and feeling the warm sun...
Well, I'm unsure if he could feel any sun with all of the baby sunblock I covered him in...

Even Daddy had some time with the JEEP baby backpack...
Aren't my men just the cutest things ever!!!



After dessert, which by the way was so delicious thanks to my sweet Husband. Todd was so nice and while on the way to the Lake we drove through Old Town Folsom and passed Snooks Candy Shop...
I said to Todd "Oh how I would love some of their fudge right now!"...
Todd just pulled the JEEP right on over...
We went in and got a few pieces...
SO DARN YUMMY!!!
Ok, back to what I was saying...

After dessert we went on a little hike around the lake...
Here we are...



Rowan just loved looking at all of the trees...



So we had such a good time, we called Tom and Arron and asked them to join us for lunch at the Lake today...
Todd and I got there early with Rowan to get a good table and Lake view...
Here we are waiting for our half hour late Brothers...

When they came we all sat down and ate lunch...

So we had a really good time...
It was awesome to hang out with Tom and Arron on such a beautiful Sunday...
Lunch at the Lake is going to become a tradition I think...
And judging by what my boys look like now...



I think they had a good time...
