Yay Todd doesn't have to be at work for three whole days!!!...
Friday Todd's Office closed early...
So he was off work at 2:00pm...
Since he was off so early we were able to head up to Mom's house...
We were goofs and left the house at 5:00pm...
Who starts to travel during rush hour at the start of Memorial Day Weekend...
Oops...
Oh well...
After dealing with a ridiculous amount of traffic we made it to Mom's house...
I have no idea why I don't have any pictures of this...
I guess it is just because we were having such a good time visiting I was distracted and didn't' pull out the camera...
Saturday Morning we woke up and Todd and I cleaned and tuned the BBQ for Gracie's party next weekend...
We brought the BBQ up from the barn...
I power washed it...
We took the propane tank to ACE Hardware and filled it up while Mom watched Rowan...
Let me tell you what...
Aunt Edie and Mom are such a blessing...
While Rowan is in their care I'm able to have a break without worrying...
It is so darn nice...
After getting the BBQ fine tuned we headed to the Mexican Restaurant for Lunch...
One of my favorite things about going up to Mom's house is the drive...
There is a house along the way that I only hope Todd and I can purchase some day...
It's a cute little farmhouse with beautiful property perfectly suited for my Equestrian Center...
Every time we pass it I make more and more plans...
hehehehe...
On the way up to Mom's house I saw that the property next door had the Percheron's out grazing...
So on the way back I had my camera ready and had Todd pull over...
Unfortunately they weren't close to the road this time...
But as you can see it is beautiful...
Hopefully one day this will be my neighboring property...
It's in our 5 to 10 year plan....
:-)

Here's a picture of the beautiful drive that I love so much...

Today I took a picture of my super handsome Husband and my adorable Little Man...
Don't you just love his shirt!!!
:-)

Today while heading out to grab breakfast while Rowan was taking his Morning nap I stopped by a garage sale in our neighborhood...
The lady that was holding it was super nice and all of the things that she was selling were brand new...
She use to own a gift shop and was retiring...
Her and I had a nice chat...
She had a sweet old dog named rascal who I just fell in love with...
While browsing through all of her merchandise I came across these two kitty figurines...
I just fell in love with them due to the resemblance of our kitties...
She said since "Rascal" her dog adored me so much...
(According to her he doesn't like people)...
She sold them to me for five bucks...
She was selling them for ten each...
SCORE!!!...

Don't you see the resemblance???

So sweet Gracie Pooh Bear is fast asleep...

And want to know how I'm able to do this blogging at night???

It's our super awesome video baby monitor...
Oh My Goodness is this thing awesome...
It really allows us to watch Rowan at all times and know when he's really AWAKE and needs to be nursed...
So many times before we would go in when he started fussing...
Now he is allowed to settle himself...
And we're not constantly wondering how he's doing...
This allows for more US TIME!!!!

So I hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day Weekend...
We sure are!!!
:-)
I will end this post with a famous Rowan OH FACE!!!

Hope This Finds Everyone Smiling...
We Are...
Big Hugs...
