Memorial Day...

So today was Memorial Day and we had a nice family day...
We woke up and hung around the house for a while...
My Grammie...
Gracie's Great Grammie sent her a Birthday card all the way from Connecticut...
So Gracie sent her a thank you card...
We decided to take a walk to the mailbox and enjoy the warm weather...



Rowan just loves walks in his baby backpack...



I just love my family...



When we came back to the house Rowan had some tummy time...



At one point I looked around and realized we were all on our tummy's having tummy time including Mews...

We then headed over to Tom's house to visit with Robyn...
Last night Tom and Robyn had a BBQ with everybody and Todd headed over...
But I stayed home with Rowan...
He's just now getting over his cold and I didn't think it would be such a good idea to be around all of the BBQ smoke and lots of people...

So we headed over today so Robyn could meet Rowan...
Now Rowan can be pretty fussy when people he doesn't know well hold him...
But he really enjoyed spending time with Robin...
She held him for quite a while and he just smiled and cooed at her...
We had a really nice visit...



I am just so happy for them!!!



So after our visit Todd, Myself, Gracie, and Rowan headed out to lunch and to run some errands...
We also stopped off at the bakery to order Gracie's cupcake cake for school on Thursday...
I let her pick out the one she wanted and will be picking it up on Wednesday night...
After stopping at Target, the last of our errands we headed home...
When we got home we had quite the load to bring in due to all of the baby water I had purchased...
Just when I thought it was going to take more than one trip I caught a glimpse of my super crafty McGyver Husband...



Yes he took off his belt...
Looped it through all of the gallon water jug handles and put it around his shoulder...

Got the job done in one trip!!!

So that was our Memorial Day....
We had a nice relaxing family day and it was really nice...
I will end this post with a picture of Mews who hasn't quite figured out that we didn't buy the BUMBO chair for her...
