This Weekend, Including A Monday And A Tuesday Morning...

So this weekend my poor Husband had to do a lot of work...
He has a huge project at work that he is co-authoring on...
The fortunate factor is that he can work from home through the weekend...
But the unfortunate part is he was extremely busy Saturday and Sunday...
Poor guy...

Rowan and I had our usual Morning chat over coffee...



Even though Daddy was busy he still got some snuggle time in...



He even got some smiles...



Todd was super sweet and got me flowers...



Now my flower spot doesn't look empty...
:-)



While Todd was busy working Rowan and I baked chocolate chip cookies...



As you can see from the picture above he wasn't very entertained and fell asleep...
But the yummy delicious smell 8 to 10 minutes later woke him right up...
:-)



We also got strawberries from the farm down the road...
I cut them up and they were delicious...



If you want to cheer a Husband up that has to work all weekend long...
Give him warm from the oven chocolate chip cookies and fresh strawberries...



Snuggle time with Rowan works too...

What we're trying to show you here is his super cute outfit that says...

Some exciting random news is my wedding rings fit again...
Finally!!!
I had to take them off a couple weeks before Rowan was born and haven't been able to wear them since...
I was beginning to get worried because they still weren't fitting and I weigh less now then when I got pregnant...
But low and behold they fit!!!
Perhaps nursing is making me retain fluid???
I am super excited to wear these...
Boy have I missed them....



So that brings us to yesterday...
After I picked up Gracie from school we enjoyed the nice weather...
I took Rowan outside and sat in the shade while Gracie played...
Then Todd came home from work and Rowan and him caught up on the day...



Rowan had lot's of smiles for Daddy...


And I squished him to pieces of course...



We then had some family time...



Rowan is just so intrigued by his Big Sister...



And she just loves him to pieces...



Gracie can put him in any position and make him do anything...
He is always content and enjoys her cuddles and goofy movements she makes him do...
It's just the cutest thing...



I didn't know my heart could love this much...



Rowan is now starting to really enjoy being picked up and held high...
You can't really tell in this picture...
But he was smiling and enjoying the ride...



Also yesterday one of my favorite things happened...
One of the benefits of being the Wife of a super handsome Husband that works for a publishing company is book time...
Every three months or so Todd gets a free book order of five books that Random House has published...
Gracie's book arrived last week...
But my books arrived yesterday....



Fast forward to this Morning and I had quite a surprise...
Ducks!!!
A cute little couple that I fed lots of bread to...
Todd said "Well Babe I haven't given you your farm yet; but looks like your making them come to you!"...
:-)
Aren't they cute???



So now I have ducks and hummingbirds right outside my front door...

Horses and cows...

Also, Gracie was happy to see the ducks this Morning...
And I snapped a picture of her as she headed out the door with Todd to school...
Isn't she just cute in her all pink Spring attire???
