Beating The Heat...

Well it has been super super hot here recently...
To beat the heat and keep Gracie entertained we took her to Toys R Us to spend her piggy bank savings...
We do this every few months when her collection gets to be substantial or when she tells me it's to hard to put money into her piggy bank anymore due to it being to full...
Usually Gracie purchases one large item with her savings...
This time we did things a little differently and she purchased multiple smaller items...
She added to her Zhu Zhu pet collection and bought two babies and another full grown Zhu Zhu complete with bunny ears...
She also purchased a Zhu Zhu Pet outfit for her existing pets....
In addition she purchased a really cute animal play set that was regularly thirty dollars but was on clearance for $19.99...
Along with that she bought some additional animals to go with it...
And some Silly Putty...
It was neat to see her so excited about this darn Silly Putty...
Some things are truly timeless...

Complete with purse full of her money...



This was Rowan's first trip to Toys R Us...
And as you can see he was pretty excited...



Todd, Gracie, and I really enjoyed taking Rowan around to see all the toys...
It really is fun now that he observes things...
And believe it or not at 15 weeks he already picked out his first bike...



Oh boy did he love this thing...
It was a Mickey Mouse tricycle...
I placed him on it and right away he was trying to push the buttons and was completely intrigued...
It was just the cutest thing...



We then came home and relaxed...
And Gracie played with her toys...



Uncle Arron came over and visited but unfortunately I didn't take any pictures...
Today Gracie is visiting her Dad so it was just me and Rowan...
We sure do miss Grace but made the best of it...
