Rowan had some Uncle Ray time...

And he had some Aunt Edie time...

And Gracie had some pumpkin pie time...
She was craving it this past Tuesday so Aunt Edie was so nice and made her some...

After our visit we picked up Todd from work and headed to Downtown Placerville to meet Mom and Grandma for dinner at the Buttercup Pantry...

This Indian was in the lobby and Gracie was insistent that I take her picture with it...
:-)

After dinner we all headed up to Mom's house for a sleep over...
Gracie and Mom played dress up while Todd and I fed Rowan and bathed him...
This is one of MANY outfits she had on...

After lots of fun and giggles we all headed to bed...
The next Morning Todd, Rowan, and I did some major sleeping in...
Oh was it nice...
When we woke up we enjoyed our Morning coffee while socializing with Peanuts...

Mom and the kids played piano...

Then it was time to get ready to head to the lake...
I snapped this picture while packing up the diaper bag...
Only at Mom's house is there a hen and a rooster outside the dinning room door...

Daddy played with Rowan while I got things ready...
How cute are my men???

Once the kayak was loaded up along with all the kids we were off to Sly Park...

Here's Gracie in her new sunglasses Grandma Donna got her...

And then we arrived at the lake...

Gracie was thrilled and jumped right in...

And Rowan settled right in to being a lake man...

Soon it was lunch time and we enjoyed yummy sandwiches and chips...

And then it was right back in the water for Gracie...

Soon she discovered some geese...

Or shall I say the geese discovered her...

Rowan was such a good boy, calm as can be, just observing everything...

After lunch I hopped in the kayak for my maiden voyage with lots of help from Todd at the beginning...
Not to mention lots of advice from Mom on the shore...

After a few test drives, a couple run in's with trees...
I got the hang of it...

Then it was Gracie's turn...
Todd was nice enough to follow her around the shallow area with a rope tied to the end of the kayak for a long time...
Gracie really enjoyed herself...

After a while Gracie requested the oars and off she went...

Mom was wonderful and watched Rowan while we had all of our water fun...

Here's all of us...

Including Todd...

As you can see we had a really good time...
Beautiful weather...
Wonderful family...
Lots of laughter...
After we got back to Mom's house we packed up and headed home...
Baths, dinner, and bedtime all around...
Have to get up early in the Morning for Gracie's first riding lesson...
I will end this post with a picture of Mom's donkeys as we were leaving tonight...
Hope this finds everyone smiling,
Big Hugs,
