Easier said than done however...
My jaw is so darn sore and my face is super swollen...
The incision on my head is killing me and the sutures are super annoying...
But it's done...
Yay!!!
So this past Sunday I threw Gracie a Birthday bash up at Mom's house...
Gracie had such a good time...
All of the family and many of our friends came to join us in our celebration of Gracie...
We had a great turnout of around thirty people...
Thank you to all of our friends and family that came...
It meant a lot to Gracie...
The night before I made Gracie's cake...

I gave her the option of have the cake maker make it again...
But she was insistent that she wanted one of Mommy's cakes...
I wanted it to be a surprise but try and keep a seven year old out of the kitchen while your dealing with four chocolate cake mixes...
:-)

Of course she had to lick the beaters clean...
(I helped too :-P)

Here's the finished product...
Thanks Mom for helping...

The Morning of the party Grandma watched Rowan while the bounce house was being delivered and Todd and I were busy...
Rowan loves his Great Grandma...

Here's my Birthday Girl and my super adorable Son waiting for the guest to arrive...
Aren't they just gorgeous???

Soon guests started to arrive...
We were so happy that Jeff and Dina were able to come with Brian...
We haven't seen each other since both boys were in our tummy's...
Jeff couldn't believe how big Rowan was...
I mean 12 weeks and 18 pounds is pretty crazy...

Here we are with our little men...

It was just the cutest thing...
Daddy's traded Son's and talked about all things baby...
Trading stories and advice...
Priceless...

Here I am with my Birthday Girl...

Todd BBQ'd for everyone as usual...
After Lot's of yummy food, drinks, and visiting it was time for presents...

And then the paper shredding began...
:-)

And the hugs started flowing...

I took pictures around the room to showcase everyone that came to celebrate...

Gracie read all of her cards by herself...
Such a big girl...
The card from Grandma Donna was complete with paper dolls....
So cute...

Then came the big presents...
Obviously Gracie is very interested in horses...
Hence the horse themed Birthday party...
But she had no idea about was the gift certificate from Grandma Donna and Great Grandma Florence for 5 horseback riding lessons...

Looks like one happy Birthday girl to me...

Here she is with her pink riding helmet...

Todd and I got her breaches and boots...
I am so excited that Gracie is going to ride horses just as I did...
So awesome!!!
My camera battery died so I used Mom's camera and still need to get the pictures off of it which include all of the candle blowing out and cake cutting...
Everyone had been bouncing in the bounce house all day...
But as guests left and it was just family Todd and I hooked up the water hose to the bounce house and let the water sliding begin...
Gracie was in her swimsuit in no time...

It became a family affair...
Hey when the Birthday girl asks you to get into your swimsuit bounce and slide...
You do it!!!!

Even Uncle Arron and Uncle Tom joined the fun...

After we all dryed off we sat down on the deck visiting and chatting...
Here's Tom and Robyn...
So awesome that she was able to be there...
:-)

So these are the pictures I have for now...
More to come soon...
I want to say thank you to Mom and Grandma for all of their help and especially Mom for allowing us to bring 30 people up to her house...
Such a gracious host she is...
And another special thank you to Aunt Edie who took care of Rowan throughout the whole party...
Allowing me to spend special time with Gracie on her special day...
And also allowing Rowan to stay calm and comfortable amongst all the commotion and fun...
Thank you guys!!!!
Hope this finds everyone smiling...
Rowan sure is...

Big Hugs,
Megs
